According to Russia Today, the Russian frigate Ladny has freed the “Arctic Sea” cargo ship in the Atlantic without firing a shot and arrested eight alleged hijackers, according to the country’s Defense Ministry.

Russia’s Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov has informed President Dmitry Medvedev that the dry cargo ship “Arctic Sea” has been discovered “300 miles off the Cape Verde Islands”.
